Το διαμέρισμα βρίσκεται στην Κυψέλη και δημιουργήθηκε από την ένωση δυο ρετιρέ με γωνιακή βεράντα με θέες προς το πεδίο του Άρεως, την Ακρόπολη και στο βάθος την θάλασσα αλλά και τον Υμηττό. Το όριο μεταξύ των δύο διαμερισμάτων καταργείται, πλην του ακριανού δωματίου-ξενώνα. Στην ενιαία επιφάνεια που αναδύεται και την οποία σαρώνει το νέο ξύλινο πάτωμα στήνονται πολλαπλά χωρικά συμβάντα τα οποία φέρουν χρήσεις και οριοθετούν/ιεραρχούν τους χώρους. Το λουτρό, η αποθήκη, ο ελεύθερος πάγκος της κουζίνας, οι κουρτίνες, η κρεμαστή βιβλιοθήκη, το έπιπλο-τοίχος ξεχωρίζουν το υπνοδωμάτιο από την κουζίνα, την είσοδο και το καθιστικό από το υπνοδωμάτιο, το γραφείο από τους κοινόχρηστους χώρους. Η ακτινωτή διάταξη των αντικειμένων ως προς τον μεγάλο τοίχο με τα τρία ανοίγματα διακρίνει τα πιο δημόσια από τα πιο ιδιωτικά κομμάτια του σπιτιού. Καθιστικό, τραπεζαρία, κουζίνα, γεμίζουν από το νοτιοδυτικό φως και αστικές θέες των ρετιρέ της Κυψέλης από τα τρία εν σειρά ολόσωμα παράθυρα. Τα συμβάντα-αντικείμενα παίρνουν διαφορετικά χρώματα και υλικότητες ενισχύοντας την αναγνωσιμότητα και τη χωρική τους ταυτότητα μέσα στο ενιαίο πεδίο. Οι περιμετρικοί τοίχοι παραμένουν διακριτικοί και φιλοξενούν λοιπές λειτουργίες όπως τα ντουλάπια της  κουζίνας, την γκαρνταρόμπα του δωματίου και εισόδου, την αποθήκευση του γραφείου.

The apartment, located in Kypseli, was created from the unification of two penthouses, featuring a wrap-around veranda with views of Pedion tou Areos, the Acropolis, the distant sea, and Mount Hymettus. The boundary between the two original apartments has been removed, with the exception of the corner guest room. Upon the newly formed unified surface, defined by the sweeping new wooden floor, a series of spatial ‘events’ are introduced, hosting specific functions while delineating and hierarchizing the various areas. The bathroom, the storage room, the free-standing kitchen counter, the curtains, the suspended bookshelf, and the wall-unit act as spatial separators, distinguishing the bedroom from the kitchen, the entrance and living room from the bedroom, and the study from the common areas. A radial arrangement of these objects relative to the long wall with its three consecutive, window doors serves to distinguish the public zones from the more private parts of the home. The living, dining, and kitchen areas are bathed in southwestern light and offer urban views of Kypseli’s penthouses through these continuous openings. These space events are rendered in distinct colors and materials, enhancing their legibility and individual spatial identities within the single, unified field. Meanwhile, the perimeter walls are kept discreet and host various built-in functions, such as the kitchen cabinetry, the bedroom and entrance wardrobes, and study storage.
